Held last weekend, on July 23rd and 25th, the IBJJF Pan Kids brought together children and young people of the new generation together with their parents and coaches, for a great party at the Silver Spur Arena in Kissimmee, Florida.
For me, in particular, it was a great honor to be able to work and closely monitor the evolution of these young people. I usually say that I often learn from them. This new generation has been showing incredible skills on the biggest stage of the jiu-jitsu international, with the pressure to compete at a high level, as Pan Kids has already solidified itself as one of the toughest and heaviest tournaments in the youth divisions.
At the end of the event, I was able to conclude how pure the heart of each child who competed is, without malice, without ego, which makes Pan Kids one of the most exciting championships in the annual jiu-jitsu calendar, simply because it is true, and mold each child with honor, respect and loyalty.

Realizado no último final de semana, nos dias 23 e 25 de julho, o Pan Kids da IBJJF reuniu crianças e jovens da nova geração juntamente com seus pais e mestres, para uma grande festa na Silver Spur Arena em Kissimmee, na Florida.
Pra mim em particular foi uma grande honra poder trabalhar e acompanhar de perto a evolução desses jovens. Eu costumo dizer que por muitas vezes eu aprendo com eles. Essa nova geração vem mostrando habilidades incríveis no maio palco da arte suave internacional, com a pressão de competir em alto nível, já que o Pan Kids já se solidificou como um dos torneios mais difíceis e de maior peso nas divisões para jovens.
Ao final do evento pude concluir o quão puro é o coração de cada criança que competiu, sem maldade, sem ego, o que faz com que o Pan Kids esteja entre os campeonatos mais emocionantes do calendário anual do jiu-jitsu, simplesmente por ser verdadeiro e moldar cada criança com honra, respeito e lealdade.
